EDDM advertising through the United State Postal Service’s EDDM® program makes it easier to send postcards to every door in your chosen area. It is a new way of marketing your product or service throughout any given area. You can now market to every door in the neighborhood without using labels or specific addresses! This allows you to have your postcards delivered to specific neighborhoods using the USPS carrier routes. Further, you do not have to have a mailing permit although it would be slightly less expensive to use our “Bulk Rate” mailing stamp. You will not have to purchase a mailing list and there is no permit required. EDDM® is a new way to consider marketing your business or campaign. Post Card Sizes Approved for EDDM®

The USPS has special requirements for all Every Day Direct Mail pieces. The size of the EDDM advertising piece can vary from 11″ long & 8.50″ High at .24″ thick TO 17″ long & 11″ high at .25″ thick for Postcards, Flats & Bi-Folds. The mailing must be in postcard stock. The mailing pieces must be bundled in groups of 50 (ex: 426 mailing pieces would have 8 bundles of 50 and 1 bundle of 26) with the proper work sheets included. The special mailing label must have the entire label on the “top half” of the mail piece. A horizontal piece must be labeled as though the piece was a vertical mailing in that the label would be on the right side (as the top half if placed vertically). You would have to use special labels for the pieces based on the way the mailing will be sent. Plus you can use our “Bulk Rate” on your mailing pieces OR if you wish to bring the mail in yourself at any local post office, then you must have the appropriate stamp for the mailing you will be sending. Finally, don’t forget to use the appropriate sizes for your mailings.

EDDM Advertising Mailing Requirments

• Bundle your mailing in stacks of 50-100 mailpieces.
• Bundles may not be higher than 6″.
• Fill out and attach an EDDM facing slip to the top of every bundle.
• Write the number of pieces in the bundle on the facing slip.
• Send at least 200 and up to 5,000 pieces per day per ZIP Code™
• Drop off your EDDM mailing at the Post Office™
• No special mailing permit needed
• Or use our “Bulk Rate” and we will deliver to our USPS mail processing center (BMEU)

But, don’t worry we can handle all of this for you too. First, of course, is getting the route that you want to mail to! Then creating the mailing piece, printing on the proper stock, using the correct label and bundle the mailing and finally mailing your marketing pieces using our “Bulk Rate” stamp and Pay Less with our bulk mailing permit!

Postage Payment
If the customer delivers the mailers directly to the post office, he/she can pay the Post Office directly by cash or check. Delivery for our “Bulk Rate” is to Los Alamitos Post Office.
If we deliver the mailers to the post office, Just leave us your check made out to the USPS and we will use it to make the payment for you when the order is mailed. You will receive a USPS paid statement in the mail for the mailing. We will also TEXT you the amount when it is mailed.
